What I collect

When you fill out the quote form, I collect your name and phone number, and — only if you give them — your city, street address, what you're getting rid of, any notes you type, and any photos you attach. If you tick the box saying it's OK to text you, I record that you ticked it and when.

If you call or text the business line instead, I get your phone number, your message, and any photos you send, plus a record that the call happened — the time and how long it ran. Calls are only recorded when you hear that said out loud at the start of the call; that's California law and I follow it.

After the job, I keep the ordinary business record of it: the address, what was hauled, what it cost, and whether it's been paid. If you pay by card, my payment processor handles the card itself — I never see or store your card number.

Your photos

Photos you send go into file storage and get attached to your quote so I can price the load. Be aware of one thing: those files sit at long, random web addresses that aren't listed or linked anywhere and can't reasonably be guessed — but anyone holding the exact address could open the file. So don't photograph anything you wouldn't want a stranger to see, and if you want a photo deleted, say the word.

Texting — and the part carriers care about

Ticking the text box means I can text you about your quote and your job. It's a separate box, it starts unchecked, and you get a quote either way — consent is never a condition of doing business. Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop; reply HELP and you'll get help. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the other categories on this page exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — that information is not shared with any third parties. I don't sell it, I don't rent it, I don't trade it, and I don't hand it to anyone building a list.

Who else sees it

Nobody buys it, and nobody gets it for their own use. A handful of companies handle pieces of the plumbing on my behalf, and only what they need to do their part:

• The company that hosts this website and stores your photos.
• The company that runs the database your quote is saved in.
• The company that carries my calls and texts — they move the message, they don't get to use your number for anything else.
• The card processor, if you pay by card.

Beyond that, the only other time anything leaves is if the law requires it — a court order or the like.

Cookies

There is no advertising network, no analytics service and no tracking pixel on this site, so there's no cookie banner to click through. Two small first-party cookies exist:

• If you got here by scanning a code off a yard sign, door hanger, rip card, poster, business card, truck magnet or shirt, a cookie remembers which piece of paper it wasfor 30 days, so I know what's actually working. It holds a one- or two-letter code and nothing about you.
• A login cookie, which only exists if you log into the operator side of this app. That's me and anyone helping me — not customers.

How long I keep it, and getting it deleted

Quotes and job records stick around as long as I'm running the business — I need them for taxes and for standing behind work I did. Ask me to delete your information and I'll delete what I'm not legally required to keep, and I'll tell you straight if something has to stay. Want a copy of what I have on you? Ask and I'll send it.

This site isn't aimed at kids and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

If this changes

If I change how any of this works, I'll change this page and move the date at the top. I'm not going to quietly start selling your number later — that's not a business I'm interested in running.
